Clean Collagen comes from cows that graze on natural pastures all year round. The collagen is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis, which enables a product with unparalleled solubility in both hot and cold liquids. The molecular weight of the collagen in Clean Collagen is 3000 Daltons. Clean Collagen mainly consists of collagen type I but also a small part of type III.
Collagen makes up 30-35% of the body's protein, which makes it the largest and most abundant protein in the body. The word collagen comes from the Greek word for glue: kólla. It is very appropriate as it is sometimes called the "glue" that holds the body together due to the fact that it exists in so many different tissues. Collagen is found in hair, skin, nails, joints, tendons and also in organs such as the heart, lungs and liver.
The body produces collagen itself, but a constant breakdown of the protein occurs at the same time. The breakdown of collagen continues at the same rate, but the own production of collagen decreases with increasing age.
Originally, bone broth, heart, liver, tendons and even whole crustaceans were more prevalent in our diet and that's how we got collagen. Many of us do not eat these foods regularly and thus get no or vanishingly small amounts of collagen through our diet. With Clean Collagen, you can easily reintroduce collagen into your diet in a simple way.
Use:
Mix 1-2 tbsp with liquid of your choice. However, we recommend that you try to find a suitable dose for your particular needs.
Clean Collagen mixes excellently in all kinds of liquids and with light stirring it becomes completely free of lumps. The neutral taste enables the product to be mixed into smoothies, water, juices, soups, stews and coffee/tea without disturbing the taste of the drink.
Important to remember is that continuity is key when it comes to your collagen intake.
